# 2026.2: Was PathMacroManager.getInstance intentionally made "@Internal"?

Hey Joachim, it was not intentional, I’ll remove the annotation now. Thank you for pointing this out.  
[IJPL-247350](https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IJPL-247350) PathMacroManager.getInstance should be available for 3rd party plugins
