Hi all,
in my plugin I’ve added mcp tools, they work pretty well and I’m happy of them, but I’ve a problem when I use it in DevPods, we have the following project structure:

```auto
projects
|
|- A
|
|- B
|
|- C
```

In mcp tools I need the “current” project configuration and I retrieve the project from the coroutine context, but if I’ve `projects` and `A` (or B/C) open at the same time the projects from coroutine context is always `projects` even if the AI Agent specify the right `projectPath` (`/projects/A`).

Is there a way to access the `projectPath` default field from the MCP tools so I can use my logic to discover the project without having to duplicate the field?

Just in case I’m stuck currently to 2026.2.1 (I don’t have an easy way to upgrade IJ, the version is forced by customer).

Regards,
Mirko

I just work around it defining a projectPath field and retrieve the project from Project path using my logic.
