We need your help gathering feedback on your experiences with plugin development and, more importantly, understanding where you think we should focus our efforts next. The new platform.jetbrains.com forum was not included on purpose. The survey was drafted, planned, and finalized before the new forum. We have some free-form fields where you can share your thoughts if you like.
However, one of the survey’s main objectives is to assess how plugin writers get information and solve problems and relate that to their overall developer experience. It is more important to know what type of channel (video, docs, chat, forum) plugin developers prefer, and it is less critical if the chat is Slack or now here on Discourse.
Therefore, please answer the survey by remembering what you used in the past.
