I’m on 2025.1, with Terminal engine set to Reworked 2025. Yet I can see the terminal being fragmented like I used to see. I also can’t trigger command-aware completion.
Does this mean the extension point no longer works, at least on 2025.1 and later?
The New Terminal engine is distinct from Reworked and must be enabled using the Terminal Engine setting with terminal.new.ui.option.visible set to true.
Apparently, there are plans to reintroduce the same extension point or a similar one to Reworked.
