Recently, I’ve made Fleet Themes plugin with a bit different plugin development mind:
This is ONE repo to collect ALL fleet themes
Why?
- Many users want to publish their theme, but don’t want to develop a plugin from the bottom: setup environment, creating marketplace account, getting plugin approval, fixing compatibilities problems and so on
- No need to install EACH theme plugin to TRY ON a theme. No need to delete them afterwards
What instead?
- A user just creates a PR with a theme.json, adds a link and gets the theme available in a few moments in the marketplace
- User install ONE plugin and choose the best suitable theme in a few clicks (actually, “hovers”): Menu → View → Color Theme…
- No need to remember how your theme plugin is spoken or who’ve made it
Here is only one Intellij IDEA Dark theme from me, but I’d appreciate your own themes there as well.
