Has something changed between 252.23591.19 and 252.23892.248 in archive structure?

I only know of https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/MP-7472/Plugin-verifier-cant-extract-ZIP-if-items-contain-special-characters, but that is perhaps something different…

I’m getting a similar error message on the latest version (created July 11th) - I’m pretty sure there are no special characters in the file structure.

Is it possible it’s an issue with the verifier?

Sure, that’s possible :wink:
But as the error is very generic and happens very early in the plugin verification, it’s hard to tell what’s wrong.

Are you perhaps using an older version of the verifier? I guess it may not work with the latest EAP versions…

For me it seemed to be the re-evaluation of an already approved version. The version was approved on the 11th of July then I got an email from the market place telling me to check the versions tab because there was a validation error.

So it looks like a verification that wasn’t triggered by any action I performed

I did run a verification in IDE of the latest tag just to check, that passed

Exactly same case here. And also no special characters.

Over the past several days our Plugin Verifier infrastructure encountered a problem that caused some checks to fail with the error “plugin archive file cannot be extracted” while others stalled for an unusually long time.

We’ve now fixed the root cause, and new verifications should run normally.

If you still see verification fail with “plugin archive file cannot be extracted” or hanging for an hour or more, please contact marketplace@jetbrains.com with the link to your plugin so we can investigate it.

I uploaded two plugin updates, but the “IDE” verification still hangs. I deleted then uploaded my plugin updates again, but it’s still hanging.
