We noticed with the latest plugin verifier checks that PluginRepositoryAuthProvider has been marked as Internal. Is there a replacement? It helps us distribute a dogfood version of our plugin internally.

You can continue using it in your internal plugin builds, at the moment it is just prohibited to have such extensions in the Marketplace-published plugins
At the moment the extension is part of our official plugin, and it is declared in the manifest, does it mean we might get rejected from the Marketplace at some point?
Yes, we will stop publishing such builds, please avoid this extension in published versions
