i run Rider with runIde, it installs rider on my toolbox , tried few times , uninstall, runIde again, every time it installs rider to my toolbox. happens only with rider 2025.1
I now noticed that its not only rider, running 2025.1 with runIde installs a new ide to my toolbox
The latest Toolbox release seems to detect running IDEs (see the green dot next to an IDE in the Toolbox when an IDE is running). Maybe it’s too aggressive and it also detects and registers sandboxed (2025) IDEs 
I haven’t tried it, but downgrading the Toolbox may help until this bug is fixed.

The issue has been resolved in two places, and it will be released in Toolbox App 2.7 and IntelliJ Platform Gradle Plugin 2.7.0.
