Toolkit for Cloudflare - A Comprehensive Cloudflare development toolkit for JetBrains IDEs

Hi all,

I’m a big fan of Cloudflare, and I’m hosting all my software, like Astro sites, on Cloudflare. But switching between the IDE and the Cloudflare dashboard isn’t always ideal, so I’ve created a plugin for a more integrated experience, the Toolkit for Cloudflare. It’s mostly a developers focused plugin, with support for R2 (their S3 version), D1 (a SQLLite SQL DB), Workers (lambda functions), Pages (also lambda functions), Key stores, etc.

You can checkout the plugin here: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/30799-toolkit-for-cloudflare, any feedback very welcome!

Cheers,

Erik

It is such a pity all screenshots for the plugin are done with old UI, while less than 1% of users using it nowadays

For me, the problem is the dimension of the screenshots. They’re too big, which make them… too small on a 1080p screen (15" 1080p with a 1.25 scale factor).

You may want to stick to 1200×760 pictures.

The marketplace (and the IDE’s plugin browser) could also evolve a bit, because screenshots may be too small, pixelated for no reason, transparent…

It seems you found that 1% of users. I didnt do this in a conscious way, but it’s that I absolutely hate the “new” UI with its generic and non-descriptive icons, so I didn’t even consider using it.

Having said that, I understand I’m a minority here, and I can def update the screenshots on my plugins.

Fair point, but I wouldn’t really know how to make 1200x768 screenshots on a retina Macbook, especially since they have a 2x scale factor.
