When I wanted to use “Remove development…” to open a project from Windows WSL, I noticed that IntelliJ is telling me about “Improved WSL2 Support” and that I should open the project from the \\wsl.localhost share instead.
Is this just for Java projecta via IntelliJ IDEA on WSL or is there more generic WSL support available to work with projects opened from the fileshare?
I’d be glad to know more about this and if / how plugins can integrate better with WSL.
