Questions about community discount of perpetual license model

I create a perpetual license model plugin few months ago and I am consider for community discount, the time created it community discount doesn’t support yet.

Does the community discount such as students free license works normally for the perpetual license plugin - check apply for every year similar to subscription or only need apply for once.

Hello,

You can enable the community discounts for a plugin the same way as you do for subscription types (Step 6). However, please note that this will grant users a permanent discount. For example, if a user loses their student status, they will still retain access to the plugin.
