Hi,
Every time I update Rider via the Toolbox, this pop-up window appears. I always deselect all the options, then hit Apply (I also tried Skip), but this pop-up window reappears every time I update the IDE. This is annoying.
Is there a way to get Rider (or the toolbox—I don’t know) to remember my choices?
Thx

I believe your choices (the check boxes) are already remembered. This doesn’t help to get rid of the dialog, though.
We can either implement some env var workaround, or introduce a button “Skip always” that will remember the choice. If you need this, please open a YT issue in the RIDER tracker.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to implement “Always apply” button — we need to show an UAC window for this anyway, and we can’t just show it without previous window, it’s not good UX.
No, they’re always pre-cheked.
One more thing: I don’t use Windows Defender (it’s fully disabled), but ESET Node32, so excluding things from Windows Defender is useless in my case. It could be detected by Rider on upgrade, and when opening a project.
I will open some issues. Thx.
