AI agents are becoming more capable, but I’m curious about how we should manage them alongside human developers.
Instead of treating agents only as coding assistants, what if they could also participate in project workflows, take tasks, provide updates, and hand work back to humans when needed?
I’ve been exploring this idea with Sharkly, where humans and AI agents can work together within the same project workflow.
For JetBrains developers building AI-powered tools, how are you approaching human + AI collaboration today?
I don’t want to be rude… But should this community consider some form of moderation/reduction of AI posts and pitches like this?
The post is most likely AI generated (certainly at least AI-polished, as it is too short to fully as purely generated).
Upon searching for the “product” I found a website with same name + ai mentioned in the domain, when clicking through it I found a blog where an “Author” posts up to 10 articles in a single day, each of the article conspicuously sounds more like ChatGPT than the AI model itself and explains extremely basic concepts.
I’m very suspicious even the Avatar might be AI generated or heavily post-processed by it.
And it is not the first post like this, one of many. Few months ago it was a weekly dose of “new revolutionary chat interface for claude” plugins, now its turning into empty AI pitches that barely get any traction like this one.
EDIT: I couldn’t resist getting to the bottom of who the mystical author publishing 10+ articles daily was. Upon inspecting the profile image.. Well see for yourself:
AI slop end to end. The internet is getting consumed by AI slop, it’s reaching this JetBrains platform as well. Could we proactively outright delete/block pitches that are this obvious and.. simply wasting time and degrading quality of this forum?
We usually spot such content, move to Off-Topic and if author crosses the line, remove blatant ads posts
I do see that you are swift with that. I still wonder and want to ask:
Is it possible to be even stricter? This specific case is end to end AI generated, presenting AI generated images as real people, every bit of text I can find on there is AI generated or manipulated.. It just seems low quality on all metrics I see.
I understand that outright blocking/banning/deleting everything remotely AI-ish can be a double edged sword of being too-strict (even though in this case I’d advocate for it, as it already seems over the line of AI slop and fakeness).
I suppose that what would also seem like more of a solution is if the categories these posts get sorted away to were less visible. I generally go to “https://platform.jetbrains.com/” and I check the “Latest” list on the right to see what topics moved, new things that might be of interest etc.
Even if a post like this gets flagged I still see it cluttering this view, it’s why I’m commenting on this specific post in the first place. I’m unsure if Discourse (If I am not mistaken what this forum is based on) supports anything like this… Would something similar to what I am suggesting be feasible?
